Using breast cancer data collected from patients, we developed machine learning models that effectively predict breast cancer with accuracies over 95%. AI-powered breast cancer predictions will serve at the forefront of diagnosis in the decades to come, preventing late diagnoses, improving diagnosis accuracy, and improving patient outcomes.
Last year, our team investigated demographic biases AI-powered breast cancer prediction models. We are currently working to reduce demographic biases in these models to ensure that this technology is more equitable for all.
As part of research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, we helped confirm the role of two novel master regulator transcription factors on mucinous breast cancer. This contribution will help better treat and diagnosis mucinous breast cancer in the years to come.
